I m a so called engineering student from MIT, Manipal. I dont remember wut i learnt in the college in the last 3 yrs but I sure remember people saying in my +2 that once you get into engineering everything will be a walk in the park. Yea it is true except that the park was and still is full of rotten stinking flowers and thorns spread all over. And I m still in search of the persons who fed me with all the gr8 stories abt my branch EnC in Manipal, the day I find him will be his last day on earth as an able bodied person. Although many will disagree with me but u hav to realise ppl that its not as gr8 as it sounded on the day of orientation. Now if I start writing abt the negative of EnC in Manipal it will take me 2 pages just to write the -ve points. I have my own faults but there is no excuse for faculty members who create a sort of hate towards certain subjects.
Now after 3 years comes the placement, 9 pointers thinking abt CISCO,PHILIPS and others, 8 pointers abt Deloitte ABB n others and rest all abt our gud old INFY and brand new ACCENTURE. Full formals will be in the air of the college. Guys who have been wearing gravity defying jeans for the last 21-22 yrs of their lives will be for a change seen in a non exposing attire. A relief for many people. And then there will be interviews, written tests, presentations and others. Those who will get selected will b the lucky ones and ohers will be found listening to "Bhag bhag DK bose"(like me).
I m appearing for my GRE xam on 6th still a lot to study but no worries if you are an MIT student coz its only 3rd 2day still 2 more days to go. I hv got a a hell lot of time left.
PS: I might sound frustrated but i wanted to write something and this was the only thing that was coming to my mind
